After checking out many service providers on Angie’s List, it sounded as though Precision Glass and Shower could
handle all three things that we wanted. We have a custom glass shower door which was not shutting properly, and
needed to be fixed.
We also had an old window, in a detached garage, that needed replacing. Finally, we had a door on a screened
porch which needed to be either repaired, or more likely, replaced. I explained all of this to the person on the
phone and set up an appointment.
Vincent and his employee came as scheduled, seemed very professional and amiable, looked at everything,
explained what was needed, and promised to get an estimate to me “by the end of the day, or possibly that
evening”. I gave them my e-mail address. About 24 hours after their visit, when I had heard nothing, I sent a short,
polite e-mail asking when I would be hearing from them. I also gave them my e-mail address, again, just in case
he had written it down incorrectly. Apparently, e-mails got lost in cyber-land; I don’t really know. More time went
by, and I initially wrote a pretty negative review… and the OWNER of the company contacted me IMMEDIATELY
to apologize – and offered to “make it right”.
Well, long story short, I’d already gotten someone else to fix the shower door. But, Precision offered to install the
window and door at a VERY good price. The work was completed this week. It was a little bit of a challenge,
because this is an old house and the window and door frames are not square (and, of course, the window and
door ARE square), but the installer persevered and did a good job.
